Do you know the phrase "used to"? We use this phrase to talk about the past. "Used to" talks about something that was true, but is not true now. If we say we "used to" do something, that means we did it in the past, but now we do not.

Let me give you an example. I used to play piano. When I was a child, I took piano lessons. I played the piano until I was 12 years old. But then I stopped. I do not play the piano anymore.
